Lesch Battery offers several options for your lawn and garden equipment.
Although a lawn and garden battery’s physical dimensions are smaller than an automotive battery, in most cases the battery will be 12 volts. Motorcycle-type batteries are also used in some lawn and garden vehicles. An easy way to decipher the voltage of your battery is to count the number of openings on the top of your battery. These openings cover the battery’s cells; each cell is 2 volts–therefore, 3 openings = 6 volts (3 cells X 2 volts = 6 volts) and 6 openings = 12 volts (6 cells X 2 volts = 12 volts). If the number of openings are not apparent and it is difficult to determine the number of cells, consult the vehicle’s owner’s manual for voltage requirements.
